The Admission Coordinator help to create and maintain department procedures in the following areas: daily census records, inquiry calls and referrals phone log, and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all clients needs. Facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, clients and unit staff
Key Responsibilities include:
Admission Coordinator oversees the assessment, referral and admission activities of the department and provides telephonic and in person assessments and, initial contact with referral sources and potential clients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care and maintains communication with referral sources, families, clients and unit staff.
