Windmoor Healthcare is seeking an Intake/Admission Specialist.Â This position is responsible for a variety of duties related to the maintenance and processing of patientâ€™s admissions, inquiry calls, crisis calls and referrals, conducting the intake process including obtaining pre-certifications with insurance companies, referring patients to community resources, and working with patients so they understand their choices for treatment. The Intake/Admission Specialist handles inquiry calls for Windmoor Healthcare.Â The Intake Specialist also completes the legal paperwork for admission to Windmoor Healthcare â€" explaining the admission process to patients and obtaining legal signatures, inputs data into the computer and maintains records to ensure compliance with department policies, as well as with Florida Statutes, Joint and HCFA.
