What You Will Do:
The VH Director is responsible and accountable to ensure that the Department Goals and Objectives are aligned with the Corporate Objectives and Strategic Plan. The VH Director is responsible and accountable to ensure that action plans are set in place to reach goals the organization should successfully attain for its strategy to succeed. S/he must deploy the resources and develop the goals to ensure employees understand the intent of the Strategic Plan / Operational Plan. S/he must pursue higher levels of organizational and human performance with a focus to include quality, safety, growth, operational efficiency, employee engagement and service excellence. S/he must ensure employees’ wellbeing and develop employees’ talents to adopt ideas, new processes, new technology, and new products so as to ensure successful innovation. Progressively responsible leadership in Healthcare or business operations.
What You Will Bring:
Education Bachelors Business, Healthcare, or related field required. Masters Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
Experience 5 to 8 Years - Progressively responsible leadership in Healthcare or business operations, home health experience preferred
Qualifications Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Special knowledge, skills and abilities required: Demonstrates a clear understanding of core business structures, strong financial acumen, systems, practices, trends and technologies within the healthcare industry. Multi-site health care operations experience is required, home health or hospice experience is beneficial. The VH Director must have entrepreneurial skills to support the creation of business plans for the service line and/or products. The Valley Health Director will have a strong personal work ethic, self-motivation, strong leadership abilities and, management proficiency. Also, must be able to work effectively in team, and achieve results collaboratively across the system. Must be adept at working within a highly matrixed organization. Must not have been convicted of or have pending charges of any barrier crime.
