M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for an RN at the M Health Fairview Cardiology Clinic located in Wyoming, MN. The Registered Nurse performs both independent nursing and delegated medical function. The independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s). The delegated medical function includes participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members. The RN is responsible for performing these functions in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines.
This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two week pay period), benefits-eligible opening.
This is a Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) Union role.
Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care.
Evaluates care and the patients response to interventions and expected outcomes.
Uses communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
Current Minnesota RN License
Clinical experience as a nurse in a health care setting.
High level of creative problem solving skills and priority setting. BLS certification required, ACLS preferred. Previous ambulatory care experience preferred. Willingness to work at various sites is encouraged.
