The Physician Recruiter role executes and manages the physician staffing development plan and physician recruitment strategies for the organization and collaborates with leadership and human resource teams to achieve recruiting targets, identifies challenges that impede the process, and works collaboratively with all layers of leadership and recruiting to achieve desired results. Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates.
Builds pipelines of prospective candidates through professional networks, targeted outreach and recruitment events.

Partner with all levels of leadership in executing strategies and initiatives to recruit qualified physicians to the practice.
Work collaboratively with leadership to assess, improve and implement best practices to effectively recruit physicians from sourcing candidates, interviews and selection.
Develop and implement physician recruitment strategies for assigned facilities to meet desired recruiting goals.
Collaborate in the development of the financial offers to providers with appropriate Practice Management approvals.
Develop, review, and provide insight on financial packages of potential physician recruits.
Lead the onboarding process for all new acquisitions into physician recruitment process, ensuring an efficient transition.
Develop effective sourcing strategies inclusive of trade shows, direct mail campaigns and search firm resources participating in local and national recruiting / networking events as applicable.
Review and negotiate agency contracts
Regional Ambulatory Services is led by the VUMC Regional CMO and the Vice President of Regional Ambulatory Services. The department consists of Associate CMO's and Sr. Directors who make up the dyad leadership team in each region. There are over 140 primary care and specialty adult ambulatory clinics outside of Davidson County. The primary care locations are located throughout several counties and the specialty services are clustered in several large medical office buildings across middle Tennessee. The Regional Ambulatory Leadership team is responsible for implementing outreach strategies to provide services closer to patients' homes, providing operational oversight of all adult ambulatory clinic locations and ensuring regional clinics are aligned with standard ambulatory procedures and meet operational, clinical, and financial objectives.
