RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a General and Acute Care Surgeon for Employment in Livingston, NJ!
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a General and Acute Care Surgeon to join the Department of Surgery at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. The Surgeon will maintain an elective general surgery practice in the department of surgery, including weekly office hours for direct referral patients, inpatient consults for direct referrals, and elective surgical procedures.
This position will also cover attending services as part of the Acute Care Service Line. The Surgeon will perform all required surgical procedures and in-house consultations during the prescribed week of call, and work with the assigned Rutgers resident team to provide patient management on all inpatients on the Acute Care Surgery Service. During the prescribed weeks of call, they will provide oversight for the resident team in the outpatient Acute Care Surgery Clinic.
Candidate Requirements:
- BC/BE in General Surgery
- Surgical Critical Care Fellowship (Preferred)
- Acute Care Surgery Fellowship (Preferred)
- NJ licensed or eligible for NJ licensure
